Perfect lathe for DIY, with hardened and ground bed guides . The prismatic gray cast iron bed is induction hardened ( HRC 42-52 ) and precision ground. The lead screw is mounted on bearings.
For conical turning , the tailstock can be moved; the play is ±5 mm. The tailstock and handwheel have adjustable fine divisions of 0.02 mm.
The self-centering concentricity accuracy of this lathe is ≤0.05 mm, while the spindle nose concentricity accuracy is ≤0.009 mm. Right-hand and left-hand rotation can be easily selected from the control panel.
The speed change is regulated by V-belts . This makes the operation really simple and quick to perform.
The adjustable precision slides are machined and have tapered gibs for easy sliding. The handwheels have fine graduations, with 0.04/0.01 mm divisions. The tool holder has 4 compartments.
The lathe is equipped with a set of gears for thread cutting. The bearings are tapered rollers . The thrust bearing is inserted in the handwheel.
For user safety, the lathe is equipped with an emergency switch and a minimum voltage relay.
