Telwin T-ARC 164: Inverter Power and Dual MMA/TIG Mode

The T-ARC 164 is the evolution of the Elements range for users who require higher welding current (up to 150A) while maintaining the ease of use typical of inverter systems. It is an extremely flexible direct current (DC) power source, ideal for working with a wide variety of electrodes: rutile, basic, stainless steel, and cast iron.

Intelligent Control and Advanced Processes

• Multiprocess MMA/TIG: In addition to classic electrode welding, the machine is set up for the TIG-DC process with scratch striking, offering precision even on thinner thicknesses.
• Large Diameter Electrodes: Thanks to the 150A maximum power, it can use electrodes with diameters from 1.6 to 4 mm.
• Arc Force, Hot Start and Anti-Stick devices: Integrated electronic systems that simplify ignition, maintain a fluid arc and prevent the electrode from sticking to the workpiece.

Reliability and Transportability

Designed to be taken anywhere, it weighs only 4 kg and has a compact structure that makes it easy to transport. The internal electronics guarantee high stability of the welding current despite fluctuations in the mains voltage [5]. It is also perfectly compatible with motor generators , supporting variations of +/- 15%.
