The Tecnica 171/S model (code 816003) is a single-phase direct current (DC) inverter power source designed for versatility and reliability on construction sites or in the workshop. Thanks to its advanced electronics, it guarantees a constant weld pool and complete control of the arc, even in the presence of variations in the supply voltage.

Advanced Control Systems

To facilitate the operator's work and ensure high-quality joints, the machine integrates three fundamental electronic devices:

• Arc Force: Optimizes the transfer of molten material droplets from the electrode to the workpiece, preventing the arc from extinguishing.
• Hot Start: Provides a surge current at the start to aid starting, essential with difficult electrodes.
• Anti-Stick: Intervenes if the electrode sticks to the metal, allowing manual removal without damaging the clamp.

Versatility and Industrial Protection

This welder can handle a wide range of electrodes (rutile, basic, stainless steel, cast iron) with diameters from 1.6 to 4 mm . Its robustness is guaranteed by thermostatic, overvoltage, undervoltage, and overcurrent protection systems. It is also perfectly compatible with motor generators (+/- 15%), making it the ideal tool for outdoor work where the electrical network may be unstable.
