The Zeca Art. 3516 manual cable reel (belonging to the 3500 Series) is a professional manually wound cable reel that combines a wide 40 metre range of action with a high cross-section PVC cable (3G2.5 mm²), designed by Zeca SpA to guarantee a safe, stable and high-power power supply for both civil and industrial users over long distances.

  • 40 Meters of High Section PVC Cable (3G2.5 mm²): equipped with 40 m of 3G2.5 electrical cable to reach very distant working points while minimizing voltage drop under load.
  • High Power Up to 1.8 kW (1800 W): ensures an electrical output of 1,800 W both with the cable wound and with the cable fully unwound at 230V.
  • Combined Civil and Industrial Socket Panel: equipped with 2 universal 10/16 A 2P+T Schuko sockets and 1 CEE 16A 2P+T industrial socket (blue), with CEE 16A 2P+T plug included.
  • Thermal Circuit Breaker and Galvanized Steel Structure: equipped with an automatic thermal circuit breaker, Ø 310 mm galvanized sheet metal containment flanges and a support stand in fire-painted steel tube.

Technical Features and Performance of the Zeca Cable Reel Art. 3516

The Zeca Art. 3516 manually wound extension cable reel represents the maximum combination of extension and power of the 3500 Zeca Series for dynamic electrification on construction sites, workshops and industrial environments. The presence of the 2.5 mm² (3G2.5 mm²) PVC cable with a larger cross-section, developed over 40 metres in length, combined with the mixed socket panel (2 universal Schuko sockets and 1 single-phase CEE 16A socket) allows for the supply of up to 1.8 kW continuous power in complete safety.

The solid metal structure consists of a stove-enamelled steel tube support stand, an insulating plastic inner casing, and a built-in mechanical brake to stop the coil from rotating at the desired speed. The built-in thermal cutout automatically interrupts the circuit in the event of overload or conductor overheating.
