BLS 522V VERTICAL FILTERING FACEPIECE WITH VALVE AND WELDED ELASTIC BANDS, BLS 510-520 SERIES

The bls 522V mask, part of the bls O2 510-520 series of vertical filtering facepieces, is a FFP2 NR class Personal Protective Equipment (PPE). This facepiece is specifically designed to offer effective respiratory protection in environments where the user is exposed to non-volatile solid and/or liquid particles, such as dust, fumes and mists. The "NR" designation indicates that the product is Non-Reusable, with a maximum recommended use duration of 8 hours.

The Exhalation Valve: Superior Comfort

• The distinctive feature of the bls 522V is the presence of a lateral exhalation valve. This valve is designed to have low respiratory resistance.
• Its main function is to allow exhaled air, which is naturally warm and humid, to exit the facepiece more easily. This mechanism reduces the buildup of heat and humidity inside the mask, ensuring high levels of comfort for the wearer.
• For this reason, the bls 522V is particularly suitable for use in hot and humid working environments or for prolonged periods, where thermal comfort and the reduction of internal humidity are priorities.

Design and Adaptability

• The flat, vertical, two-panel design of the mask allows for considerable flexibility, adapting to different face types, with various sizes and shapes, and ensuring an excellent fit.
• This foldable design makes the mask comfortable to wear and easy to store when not in use, without the risk of it getting ruined in your pocket. It also prevents contamination of the inside of the mask, the part in direct contact with the face, both before and after use, making it ideal for intermittent use.
• The internal nose clip is positioned between the layers of filter material. This solution optimally adapts to the profile of the nose and eyes, ensuring good visibility and maximum compatibility with eyeglasses or other eye protection devices (PPE).
• Ultrasonically welded elastics facilitate the correct positioning of the facepiece on the face, contributing to optimal stability and comfort, while eliminating all exposed metal parts.

Hygiene and Practicality

• Each bls 522V mask is supplied in individual hygienic packaging. This type of packaging protects the filtering facepiece from possible contamination before use, allows for practical storage and facilitates its distribution in the workplace, even via vending machines.

Storage and Warnings

• The product must be stored in a clean, dry environment, with temperatures between +5°C and +40°C and relative humidity below 60%. The estimated shelf life of the product is 10 years from the date of manufacture.
• It is the user's responsibility to determine the suitability of the product for its intended use.

• Please note that FFP2 masks generally:

  • They do not protect against gases and vapors.
  • They must not be used in environments with insufficient oxygen content (<17%) or where contaminant concentrations are immediately dangerous to health.
  • Use is not recommended in the presence of physical characteristics (such as beards or long sideburns) that may prevent direct contact between the face and the sealing edges of the filter mask.
