The Helix model is a sneaker from the new Urban U-Power collection, conceived as the U-Power LIFESTYLE shoe . It represents an ideal fusion of eye-catching design, a sporty look and surprising comfort , created to accompany you every day.

This Type "A" shoe stands out for its advanced technology. Its distinctive element is the Infinergy® insert, a technology originally developed for the world of running by BASF. Infinergy® transforms traditional cushioning into dynamic cushioning , storing over 55% of the energy produced during contact with the ground and releasing it as the foot pushes forward. This ensures a feeling of recharge and vitality with every step.

For maximum foot well-being, Helix is equipped with a perforated toe that increases breathability, keeping the foot fresh and dry throughout the day. The sole, made of polyurethane with the Infinergy® insert , is certified non-slip (OB SR) according to the EN 20347:2022 standard, ensuring stability and safety with slip resistance values on ceramic with NaLS (front heel ≥ 0.45, back heel ≥ 0.42) and with glycerin (front heel ≥ 0.32, back heel ≥ 0.25).

The materials used are of high quality:

• Upper: Soft white leather and suede.
• Inner lining: White leather and cotton sponge, with excellent water vapor permeability (≥ 24.6 mg/cm²h) and abrasion resistance (no holes after 25600 dry cycles and 12800 wet cycles).
• Tongue: Fabric.
• Strings: Flat cotton.
• Insole: Leather, abrasion resistant (no damage after ≥ 400 cycles).
• Outsole/Tread: Polyurethane with Infinergy® insert. Offers excellent abrasion resistance (volume loss ≤ 28 mm³), flexibility (flex resistance ≤ 0.8 mm), and good energy absorption in the heel (≥ 20 J).

The Helix shoe weighs 1,004 grams for size 42. It is important to note that, being a lifestyle shoe (not safety shoe), it does not have a safety toe cap or an anti-perforation insole.
