The Airtec Mod. 424 pneumatic belt grinder is a compact, easy-to-handle and powerful compressed air tool, designed by Airtec Srl for professional levelling, deburring, filing and satin finishing operations on metal surfaces, welds and composite materials.

  • 20 x 520 mm Sanding Belt Capacity: Uses 20 mm wide belts for wider work coverage and higher stock removal capacity than 10 mm models.
  • 0.52 kW 16,000 rpm pneumatic motor: develops a high no-load rotation speed of 16,000 rpm at 6.2 bar operating pressure for fast and uniform processing.
  • Swivel Arm with Position Lock: allows you to orient and firmly lock the tilt of the head in the position best suited to the geometry of the piece.
  • Ergonomic Structure with Rear Exhaust (1.40 kg): overall length of 395 mm and balanced body with air exhaust conveyed to the rear so as not to disturb the work area.

The Airtec Mod. 424 compressed air belt grinder (Code 13118100) is the ideal professional tool for metalwork shops, body shops, and mechanical workshops that need to quickly remove material from hard-to-reach areas. The use of high-volume belts (20 x 520 mm) ensures excellent heat dissipation and longer life of the abrasive consumables.

Powered by a 1/4" BSPT threaded connection and a recommended 10mm internal diameter hose, the sander consumes an average of 12 litres of air per second. The arm lock mechanism and stable belt travel allow for precise control of sanding pressure on both sharp edges and complex curves.
