SEMI-ACTIVE TECHNOLOGY: LUMBAR AND SHOULDER SUPPORT WITH HYBRID SPRING-MOTOR SYSTEM

The hybrid system combines an elastic spring mechanism with a low-consumption electric actuator, reducing component weight and optimising energy autonomy. This architecture keeps the overall weight of the device down (about 6 kg for Agadexo Shoulder), improving operator comfort and guaranteeing constant assistance without fatigue. The soft, removable harnesses ensure hygiene, optimal fit and ease even during long shifts.

IoT CONNECTIVITY AND INDUSTRY 4.0

The AGADEXO platform is designed for collecting and analysing operational data, supporting companies in continuous improvement processes and in strategies for preventing musculoskeletal disorders. IoT connectivity enables integration into Industry 4.0 systems, in different ways depending on the model.


Agadexo Shoulder.

The system is technically designed for data collection and integrates the hardware required for connectivity. The IoT service is not active by default, but can be implemented on request for large-scale projects, with configurations customised to the company's needs.


Agadexo Lowback.

For this model the IoT service can be activated. Integration involves an additional cost, defined case by case according to the data and parameters the user wishes to monitor.

AGADEXO SHOULDER: HEALTH, SAFETY AND PRODUCTIVITY

Adopting our work exoskeleton offers measurable, strategic advantages for the industrial environment:

1. Reduce Muscular Effort: Independent ergonomic tests, carried out by the University of Verona, measured the reduction in muscular stress (via electromyographic sensors - EMG).

2. Minimise Injury Risk: By reducing muscular wear, the risk of musculoskeletal disorders and occupational diseases is reduced. The exoskeleton has obtained ESO-EAWS® certification from Fondazione Ergo.

3. Improve Productivity: Hybrid technology and intelligent assistance (AI) minimise consumption and improve comfort. With an 8-hour battery life, the operator benefits from constant support for an entire work shift, maintaining high work capacity and helping to improve overall productivity.

Results of Independent Ergonomic Tests (University of Verona)

The tests measured the reduction in muscular effort (via electromyographic sensors - EMG) between cases with and without the exoskeleton. Here are some examples of the percentage reduction in muscular stress observed in specific lifting scenarios (8 kg - 13 kg):

Upper trapezius: Up to 46% stress reduction.
Anterior deltoid: Up to 43% stress reduction.
Latissimus dorsi: Up to 37% stress reduction.
Erector spinae: Up to 26% stress reduction.
