5m high column-mounted jib crane in canal AS CARLO SAPORITI
COLUMN-MOUNTED JIB CRANE WITH CHANNEL ARM
Type: jib crane. A simple and functional structure, it consists of a beam hinged by pins that slide on bearings that allow rotation. The beam represents the structure's travel path. Other key elements are the translation unit (trolley) and the lifting unit (hoist).
Fixing: Steel profiled column. The column is installed using a very thick plate with fixing holes drilled into it. These holes reach the foundation plate via special foundation cages with threaded tie rods, suitable for any type of column. The foundation base and anchor bolts are sold separately under accessories.
The attached sheet contains a diagram of the foundation base and anchor bolts for column-mounted cranes. To help you choose the most appropriate solution, you can contact our technicians by contacting customer service at info@dinamitek.com.
Boom: in a standard steel channel. This solution is appreciated for its lightness. The trolley slides easily because it runs inside the press-bent "channel" profile of the boom. The advantages of the channel boom are the remarkable sensitivity of the slewing and, as mentioned, the extremely smooth operation of the hoist trolley. The boom rotation, therefore, occurs by pushing and covers a 270-degree range along the entire length of the boom.
The arm and bearings are connected via pins that rotate on bearings. The adjustable braking device allows for the arm's rotation to be adjusted.
Operation: 3 movements: Lifting, translation, and rotation. The crane lifts the load vertically using the hook of the lifting unit (hoist). The load is then translated along the radial rotation axis of the boom. The translation unit consists of a trolley. The served working area is therefore limited by the rotation radius of the boom.
