COLUMN JIB CRANE IN TIRANTATA BEAM 4 m HIGH AS CARLO SAPORITI

JIB CRANE FIXED TO A COLUMN WITH AN ARM IN A TIE BEAM

The Saporiti column crane is delivered with a layer of anti-rust paint and a coat of zinc chromate for finishing, so as to be highly resistant to external agents.

The jib crane is a structure formed by a simple beam which is hinged to a pillar. In the column version the pillar consists of a specially placed steel column, while in the bracket version a pre-existing reinforced concrete pillar is used. The column is in profiled steel and the arm is in normal profiled steel. The specificity of the column crane is its installation: the column is fixed to the floor by means of a very thick plate on which the fixing holes are drilled which reach the foundation plate. For fixing to the floor, special foundation cages are supplied with threaded tie rods, suitable for any type of column. THE FOUNDATION PLATE AND THE RODS ARE FOR SALE SEPARATELY, see under accessories.

In the attached sheet you will find the diagram of the foundation base and bolts for column cranes. For the choice of the most suitable solution, you can get help from our technician by contacting customer service at info@dinamitek.com

The connection between beam and column is made in such a way that rotation of the beam itself is possible, thanks to pins that rotate on bearings. On the beam, which is the runway, is the translation unit to which the lifting unit is connected. It is none other than the trolley and its tackle. The beam is supported by an upper tie rod which connects to the vertical pivot pin. Choosing to adopt a crane with a beam arm supported by a tie rod means adopting a light structure, with very fluid rotation capacity even with a considerable capacity and outreach.

How the column jib crane works

Load handling takes place in three actions: the crane lifts the load vertically using the hook of the lifting unit (hoist). This is followed by the translation with the trolley-transfer unit, and finally the rotation along the radial axis of rotation of the arm. The rotation of the arm, therefore, takes place by pushing and covers an area of 270 degrees along the entire length of the arm. Thanks to the adjustable braking device, the push rotation of the arm can be adjusted.

The conditions of use and the limits of use to be observed are indicated in the instruction manual.

Crane features SAPORITI: they are certified professional equipment, designed and manufactured in compliance with the Community Machinery Directive No. 2006/42/EC (in Italy Legislative Decree No. 17/2010). The column jib cranes are equipped with CE marking, CE declaration of conformity or Manufacturer's Declaration, test certificate/suitability for use, and instruction manual for use.

The travel unit and the lifting unit are not included with the crane: therefore, the trolley and the hoist are not included in the supply. The hoist can be purchased separately, the range of electric hoists type PT PHOLGOR is available

For load handling, choose Saporiti jib cranes: bracket or column mounted, with channel arm, tie-rod or cantilever beam
