Valuable solution for the vertical lifting of loads free in space. 1-speed electric chain hoist with manual push-operated trolley. Suitable for light loads as the horizontal translation takes place by manually pushing the load. The translation of the trolley takes place along the longitudinal axis of the sliding beam positioned at a height. The beam is of the double T type. It is recommended to respect all the vestments of use and to observe the necessary safety standards.
The hoist is powered by alternating current with three-phase voltage 220/380 V - 50 H, while the BT auxiliary control, pendant push-button panel, is powered by low voltage alternating current 48 V- 50 H. The motor of the hoist is three-phase asynchronous, with one polarity and self-braking for maximum safety of the load and of the operators.
Let's analyze the 3 fundamental components: the hoist and the chain and the trolley.
The body of the hoist is in light alloy with the gearbox casing closed in a grease bath. The reducer has heat treated steel gears. The gears are rotatable thanks to ball bearings. The loading nut is made with alveoli, milled in steel. The hook is made of high resistance pressed steel. The lower one rotates thanks to ball bearings, and has a safety snap hook against unhooking.
The link chain is made of high strength steel. Thanks to the anti-wear treatment, it is hardened on the surface for a long life. The chain collector is a soft bag made of plastic material, in which the inactive chain resides.
The trolley has steel bearing plates. Each plate has two pins to support the two wheels. The wheels are in cast iron. Machined mechanically, they are equipped with a guide edge and ball bearings that allow rotation. To facilitate the connection with the bearing plates, the tie rods are adjustable according to the width of the wing of the sliding beam. The adjustable tie rods are equipped with shimming washers, locking nuts and a safety device against unscrewing. The operating chain is made of galvanized steel for maximum resistance to wear.
The hoist is equipped with a very effective safety system: the load limiter. It consists of a clutch device which intervenes by stopping the movements of the equipment in the event of an overload. Another very useful device, also for the purposes of safety for the load and the operators, is the lifting limit switch: an electric device which limits the maximum up and down stroke.
The hoist and trolley have an IP 45 level of protection with insulation class "F" which represents the maximum temperature appropriate for that product under normal operating conditions. Class F corresponds to a temperature of 155 degrees Celsius. The operating temperature greatly influences the aging especially of the insulating materials, knowing this parameter is important for a good use of the equipment. The IP 45 degree of protection means that it is protected against the ingress of solid objects larger than 1mm in diameter and is protected against jets of water pumped from any direction. The push-button panel works at low voltage, as required by workplace safety regulations, and is equipped with a practical emergency stop button. The degree of protection of the push-button panel is IP55 which means that it is protected against dust so as not to interfere with the operation of the device. It resists an atmospheric depression 200mm water column and an air flow equal to 80 times the volume of the enclosure and is protected against jets of water pumped from any direction.
