The hoist has a light alloy body. The gearbox casing is closed in a grease bath, with the heat-treated steel gears, which rotate thanks to ball bearings. The honeycomb loading nut is milled in steel.
The ring chain is very resistant, in steel with a special anti-wear treatment which makes the surface further hardened. The high-strength hook is made of pressed steel. The lower one rotates on ball bearings. A very useful safety carabiner prevents unhooking.
The load limiter and the lifting limit switch are very useful for the safety of the operator and the material being lifted. The load limiter is a friction device that stops movement in the event of an overload; the lifting limit switch is an electric device which limits the maximum upward and downward stroke.
The trolley has steel bearing plates. Each plate has two pins that accommodate the two wheels. The wheels are machined and made in cast iron; they have a guide edge and can rotate thanks to ball bearings. The plates need to be connected to the sliding beam; the adjustable tie rods allow the connection to be adapted according to the width of the flange of the beam itself. Adjustable tie rods are fitted with shim washers and lock nuts; they also have a safety device against unscrewing.
The vt-type electric chain hoist with mechanical translation trolley has a cast iron operating handwheel. The movement at the wheels comes from the movement of the chain. The operating chain is made of galvanized steel so it is very resistant to wear.
