Technical Characteristics and Performance of the Block Forte Sigill 60 ml Threadlocker

Sigill Block Forte High Strength Threadlocker (item code 0005041 / FBF60) is a red, one-component, anaerobic methacrylate ester-based adhesive, sealant, and sealant. It is specifically formulated for the permanent locking and locking of metal threaded joints not subject to routine disassembly, offering excellent protection against loosening caused by dynamic stresses and mechanical vibrations.

Thanks to its low viscosity (150–250 mPa s), the product effectively penetrates threads, ensuring homogeneous filling up to a maximum diametral clearance of 0.15 mm. It cures in the absence of air and in contact with metal surfaces, reaching handleability in approximately 15 minutes and functional hardening within 3–6 hours. Once fully cured, it resists extreme temperatures from -50°C to +150°C and shows excellent chemical stability in contact with brake fluid, engine oils, water/glycol mixtures, and acetone. It meets DIN-54454 specifications with 90% retention of breakaway torque after 1000 hours.
