The KRS electric drum heater is designed to maintain a constant temperature and prevent freezing or cooling of fluids and substances stored in drums and barrels during the winter months or in harsh storage environments.

  • Three Standard Drum Sizes (DH25, DH50 and DH200): available in the DH25 (25 liters - 130 W), DH50 (50 liters - 220 W) and DH200 (200 liters - 650 W) variants.
  • Integrated Thermostat and Thermal Insulation: equipped with an on-board adjustable thermostat from 0 to 90 °C and multi-layered structure in Cordura and silicone.

Technical Features and Performance of the KRS Drum Heater

KRS (Klima Rental System) drum heating bands are the ideal solution in the chemical, pharmaceutical, food, and manufacturing industries for maintaining the viscosity, fluidity, and optimal temperature of products stored inside cylindrical containers. The internal radiant core ensures uniform heat transfer across the entire surface of the drum, preventing localized overheating or alterations to the raw materials.

The band is made of materials with high mechanical and thermal resistance:

  • Outer lining: made of high-strength Cordura / Nylon, resistant to wear, cuts and the most severe operating conditions.
  • Internal Insulation: high density fiberglass layer that retains heat while reducing heat loss to the outside.
  • Contact Surface: Fiberglass fabric coated in silicone rubber, designed to adhere perfectly to the walls of the drum and resist high temperatures.

Each model is equipped with an integrated on-board control thermostat that allows the operator to set the internal temperature range from 0 to 90°C depending on the type of substance and the required heating times.
