The Zeca Art. AM40/315 automatic cable reel (belonging to the AM Series) is a professional winding drum with automatic spring return characterised by a yellow case, supplied with 15 metres of PVC electric cable (14 m wound on a reel + 1 m of free section at the input), designed by Zeca SpA to guarantee a practical, orderly and safe power supply in workshops, garages and industrial departments.

  • 15 metres of PVC electrical cable (3G1.5 mm²): consisting of 14 m of cable wound on an internal drum plus 1 m of free section with 1.5 mm² cross-section conductors.
  • Direct Industrial Version (Without Wired Sockets): supplied without socket and plug to allow direct connection to machinery or custom wiring by the installer.
  • Rack Stop Device and Swivel Bracket: equipped with a cable stop that can be disengaged every 50 cm and a swivel metal fixing bracket for wall or ceiling mounting.
  • Integrated Thermal Protector and Shockproof Case: equipped with an automatic thermal cut-out for safety against overloads and a case with high mechanical resistance.

Technical Features and Performance of the Automatic Cable Reel Zeca Art. AM40/315

The Zeca Art. AM40/315 automatic spring-loaded extension cable reel represents the compact and reliable solution in the AM Zeca Series for the dynamic electrification of workstations and workshops. Thanks to the integrated automatic retraction mechanism and the rack-and-pinion locking system (engageable/disengageable every 50 cm), the operator can unwind only the length of cable strictly necessary, avoiding clutter and tripping hazards on the work surface.

Supplied without wired sockets or plugs at the ends, the Art. AM40/315 allows for maximum installation flexibility in industrial and artisanal settings. It comes with a swivel mounting bracket for wall or ceiling mounting, a built-in thermal protector to protect against overheating, and an electrical capacity of 1.2 kW with the cable wound and 1.8 kW with the cable unwound at 230V.
