The Airtec Mod. 270 pneumatic straight grinder is a compact and extremely powerful compressed air tool (0.55 HP / 0.41 kW), designed by Airtec Srl to carry out intensive grinding, deburring, milling and finishing operations on moulds and metal parts.

  • 0.55 HP (0.41 kW) 22,000 RPM Pneumatic Motor: Delivers a high no-load speed of 22,000 RPM at 6.2 bar pressure for rapid material removal.
  • Integrated Spindle Lock System: Quickly change accessories by simply squeezing and rotating the front cover of the machine.
  • Air Regulator and Swivel Joint: Equipped with an integrated flow regulator on the body, rear air exhaust and anti-kink swivel air inlet joint.
  • Blade Holder Collet Ø 6 mm (Ø 3 mm Option): equipped with standard 6 mm collet, with the possibility of fitting the 3 mm collet on request for micro-detail work.

Technical Features and Performance of the Airtec Mod. 270 Grinder

The Airtec Mod. 270 compressed air straight grinder (Code 13200070) is the ideal professional tool for mold makers, model makers, mechanical workshops, and carpentry shops requiring constant power and maneuverability in small spaces. The innovative spindle locking system using the front cap eliminates the need for double keys when changing rotary cutters.

The tool operates at a recommended operating pressure of 6.2 bar via a 1/4" BSPT threaded connection and a hose with a recommended internal diameter of 10 mm, recording an average air consumption of 9.3 litres per second. The ergonomic body, just 185 mm long and weighing just 0.70 kg, allows for a firm grip with low vibration levels (2.7 m/s²).
