Technical Features and Performance of the Airtec Mod. 212 Needle Scaler

The Airtec Mod. 212 pneumatic needle scaler is an indispensable heavy-duty tool in metal fabrication shops, shipyards, repair shops, and tire shops for the deep cleaning of hubs and rims before assembly. Thanks to its pistol-shaped design with an 11-joule impact force, it uses the percussive motion of its 28 hardened steel needles to break up and remove thick layers of rust, paint, and welding slag without damaging the underlying structure.

The adjustable sleeve on the tool head allows you to vary the needle projection: a reduced projection increases the rigidity of the bundle for stubborn encrustations, while a greater projection provides flexibility to adapt to shaped surfaces and corners.
