The 3M™ Cubitron™ 3 Disc 1169F (180 mm format) is a professional, ultra-high-performance abrasive, designed for heavy-duty removal on high-powered angle grinders. Its Y-type heavy-duty polyester backing ensures maximum mechanical strength even under high pressure.

Next Generation Abrasive Technology

• Re-engineered Precision-Shaped Grain: Patented curved-sided ceramic grain fractures in a controlled manner, creating consistently sharp tips that cleanly cut metal instead of tearing it.
• Record Stock Removal: Removes up to 49% more material than the Cubitron™ II 969F series and up to 66% more than the 769F model (based on grit 40+).
• Cool and Constant Cutting: The blades gradually fragment exposing new mineral, maintaining a high and constant cutting speed throughout the life of the disc, reducing thermal stress on the workpiece.
• Optimal Finish: Despite its aggressiveness, it generates a finer finish than a fibre disc of the same grit, ideal for preparing for painting.
