The bls 522 mask is part of the bls O2 510-520 series of vertical filtering facepieces. Classified as FFP2 NR class Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), it offers effective respiratory protection in environments where the user is exposed to non-volatile solid and/or liquid particles, such as dust, fumes, and mists. The "NR" marking indicates that it is Non-Reusable , with a maximum recommended duration of 8 hours.

Design and Comfort:

• 2-Panel Vertical Flat Design: Its foldable shape adapts to different face types, sizes, and shapes, ensuring an excellent fit and high comfort. This design also prevents contamination of the inside of the mask, in direct contact with the face, both before and after use. It is ideal for intermittent use, as it does not deteriorate when stored in a pocket.
• Internal Nose Clip: The nose clip is positioned internally between the layers of filter material. It adapts optimally to the profile of the nose and eyes, ensuring good visibility and maximum compatibility with eyeglasses or other eye protection devices (PPE).
• Welded Straps: The bls 522's straps are welded. This feature facilitates the correct positioning of the mask on the face, contributing to optimal stability and comfort. The straps are ultrasonically welded to eliminate any exposed metal parts.

Without Valve:

• The bls 522 mask is specifically designed without an exhalation valve . This feature makes it an exhalation barrier, protecting the surrounding environment from the user. It is therefore ideal for sectors such as the food industry , the medical field (including dental practices) and in all work environments where contamination from the user must be avoided.

Materials and Packaging:

• The filter material and nose clip are made of polypropylene (PP), while the elastic bands are made of polyester (PES) and synthetic rubber.
• The mask is supplied in individual hygienic packaging . • The bls 510-520 masks, including the bls 522, comply with European Regulation 2016/425 (Personal Protective Equipment).
• They are certified as category III PPE , in accordance with the harmonised technical standard EN 149:2001+A1:2009 .
• Certification and controls are carried out according to Module D at Italcert Srl (Notified Body n°0426).
• They are CE marked.

Storage and Warnings:

• The product must be stored in a clean, dry environment, with temperatures between +5°C and +40°C and relative humidity below 60%. The shelf life is 10 years.
• It is the user's responsibility to determine the suitability of the product for its intended use.
• Does not protect against gases and vapours.
• It must not be used in environments with insufficient oxygen content (<17%) or where contaminant concentrations are immediately dangerous to health.
• Use is not recommended in the presence of physical characteristics (such as beards or long sideburns) that prevent direct contact between the face and the sealing edges of the filter mask.
