The 3M™ 4520 protective garment stands out for its use of SMMMS technology: a 5-layer structure composed of a polypropylene base on both sides for mechanical resistance and three internal microfibre filter layers. This combination produces an extremely lightweight (43 g/m2) and soft material, capable of retaining dangerous dry particulates while allowing easy dispersion of body heat and moisture. The design is easily identifiable by the distinctive green triangle on the back panel, made of the same breathable material.
