860 W reversible hammer drill. Powerful and robust tool. This drill is equipped with a safety clutch and works at two speeds with mechanical change. The number of revolutions are adjusted thanks to the electronic switch. The robust keyless chuck is of excellent quality.
Each component is made with the best materials: the motor body is in AHB duralumin appreciated for its sturdiness. Duralumin is perfect for containing rotating components such as the brush holder which manages the rotation reversion while keeping the speed constant regardless of the direction. The AHB also reduces the spark generated by the contact between the brushes and the commutator. When the twinkle is reduced, efficiency increases, the same principle of the Brushless motor is applied to this motor with higher energy efficiency than traditional lower class ones.
The hikoki drill is used with a combined rotation and percussion action for drilling holes in hard surfaces such as concrete, marble and granite. In this case, the drilling capacity reaches up to 20 mm. Only the rotation function is used for drilling in simpler materials. The drilling capacity is 13 mm in steel while it reaches up to 40 mm in wood and plastic.
