The OKO-PUR absorbent material, in powder and granules, is used for the absorption of spillages of oils, hydrocarbons, greases, petrol, diesel, paints and chemicals. It is suitable both for absorption on the ground and on liquid surfaces, specifically artificial and confined water bodies such as tanks and reservoirs. The oil is also collected in water, OKO ‐ PUR absorbing the material to be purified creates large easily recoverable granules, and reclaims the water by 95%. OKO-PUR absorbs the contaminant without absorbing water because it is water repellent, so even if swollen with oil, it continues to float on the surface. This feature makes it usable even in the rain, unlike the classic methods of oil collection.

The use is very simple: it is used like sawdust, but it is much more efficient. Absorption occurs quickly. Once the oil is absorbed, OKO-PUR retains it even if it is pressed, so disposal operations do not require you to pay attention to this aspect. OKO-PUR is anti-skid, that is, it does not adhere to shoes or to the wheels of trolleys or vehicles passing through the workshop.
The mixture created after absorption does not solidify nor does it produce fungi: the absorption operations are much cleaner than with rags or sawdust.
Absorption occurs in a ratio of 1:10, i.e. OKO-PUR absorbs up to 10 times its weight (with the contents of a 6.8 kg bag, 30/80 kg of liquids are absorbed).
This means that you have to stock much less material at equal efficiency than common materials for oil absorption. The manpower required for this type of operation can be halved by using this exclusive airbank.
Choosing to use OKO-PUR speeds up all cleaning operations, forget about sawdust, rags and detergents!
OKO ‐ PUR is 100% recycled polyurethane, it does not contain aggressive chemical agents. Its construction is eco-friendly: to produce 1 kg of OKO-Pur, the emission of 250 kg of CO2 into the atmosphere is avoided. How is this achieved? From the production material, polyurethane obtained from the insulation of scrapped refrigerators.
OKO-PUR is available in both powder and granules. Change the density of the product: Fine granules 430 gr / l - Large granules 450 gr / l - Powder 220 gr / l.
The powder is suitable for closed environments, the granules for open environments simply because the granules are not dispersed by the wind but remain in the application site to absorb the contaminant.
The use is very simple, taking into account the absorption factor, just sprinkle the stain with the product and leave it to act. With a broom it is stirred in order to allow all the product to act. Finally just collect the material and dispose of. The use is the same even on water surfaces.
The disposal of OKO ‐ PUR after use on oil must comply with Legislative Decree 152/2006 and subsequent amendments: Code R 150202 * - Absorbents, filter materials (including oil filters not otherwise classified), rags and protective clothing, contaminated with dangerous substances.
