The Fervi Art. P061 drill bit series includes 19 ground twist drill bits in high-speed steel ( HSS ) with titanium nitrate ( TiN ) coating, cylindrical shank and diameters from 1 mm to 10 mm (0.5 mm progression), supplied in a compact and resistant case.

  • 19-piece set (1 - 10 mm): Full scale with 0.5 mm increments for high precision drilling.
  • Titanium Nitrate (TiN) coating: guarantees high surface hardness (HV 740÷780) and longer tool life.
  • 135° sharpening and ground execution (DIN 338/N): rapid penetration, optimal self-centering and excellent chip evacuation on steels up to R≤700 N/mm².

Made of fully ground high-speed steel (HSS) and enhanced with a TiN (Titanium Nitrate) surface treatment, these drill bits comply with the DIN 338/N standard and offer exceptional heat and abrasion resistance.

Cutting Performance and Operational Compatibility

  • 135° Top Geometry: allows immediate centering without the need for pre-punching and reduces friction during drilling.
  • Titanium (TiN) coating: reduces the coefficient of friction, dissipating heat better and allowing higher cutting speeds and feed rates than traditional HSS drills.
  • High Machinability: suitable for use on steels with strength up to 700 N/mm², aluminium, cast iron and non-ferrous alloys on pillar drills, lathes and milling machines, preferably with the aid of coolant emulsion.
