3M™ Cubitron™ II is the generation that introduced the microreplicated PSG ceramic grain, revolutionising the way metals are cut and ground.

It is ideal for metal steelwork, industrial maintenance, welding and work on carbon steel, stainless and structural steels.

The range includes cut-off discs, fibre discs, flap discs, grinding discs and dedicated 3M ribbed backing pads.

Compared to traditional ceramic abrasives, Cubitron™ II ensures cooler cutting, less friction and a significantly longer service life.

Mistake to avoid: applying too much pressure, because the grain should not “plough” the workpiece but cut it cleanly.
