The Hummer shoe has an upper in soft, natural, tumbled nubuck leather . The gusset is in padded nylon , and there is a “no stress” collar for improved comfort.
The lining is made with highly breathable Wingtex® air tunnel technology. Special Wingtex® microcells absorb and disperse moisture. The insole is made of Elastopan Memory Foam from BASF. This material is truly comfortable and offers a comfortable enveloping effect. The channels and perforations promote air circulation, and the antibacterial lining fabric absorbs sweat, keeping the foot always dry. The midsole is made of soft expanded PU and Infinergy®. Every detail has been designed to make you feel comfortable and perfectly protected at the same time.
For your protection, the shoe is equipped with an Airtoe® Aluminium toe cap with breathable membrane and a PU/PU sole.

This model is puncture-proof.
The anti-perforation feature is provided by Save & Flex PLUS® technology, a special "metal-free" textile insole. This insole is lighter and more flexible. Made of fabric, it is sewn directly onto the shoe's upper, providing protection to the entire sole of the foot. The Save & Flex PLUS material has a puncture resistance of 1100 N, as required by the latest workplace safety standards.

Regarding the ANATOMICAL FIT/LAST, U-Power states that the Hummer shoe is Natural Confort 11 Mondopoint. This last was designed by studying the foot under load and maximum effort. This is based on the awareness that the foot itself changes significantly during a work shift. Natural Confort 11 guarantees a natural and constrictive fit throughout the day.
