SAFETY SHOES: A GUIDE TO THE CHOICES YOUR FEET WOULD MAKE

Safety Shoes: A Guide to Choosing Your Feet Without Annoying the Safety Officer

Sometimes it's tempting to think that those who write standards shouldn't wear PPE shoes eight hours a day . Toe caps, technical materials, and other details necessary to market safety footwear that complies with standards don't necessarily make them comfortable.

You who work on a construction site, in a workshop, in a warehouse, would like to choose shoes with a much simpler criterion:
“Do they protect me? Do they hurt me? Do they make me slip? Do they make me last a full shift?”

Our Special Use range: when you need something more

Food

White, easy-to-clean, non-slip, and water-repellent shoes. The most suitable classes are S2 and S6.

Electricians

In addition to ESD protection and antistatic soles, certified footwear is required for real-world electrical risks. Exena models from the Electrical line are tested up to 18,000 V (CSA Z195-14, ASTM F2413-11), offering insulation that standard S3 shoes cannot guarantee.

Welders

Heat-resistant materials, closed upper, spark protection. Ideal for S3 HRO or dedicated models.

Foundry

Requires protection from extreme heat, molten metal, and impact. Specialized footwear with HI and HRO certifications.

Oversized

Models available up to size 50 and above, with wide fits for those with feet that don't go unnoticed.

Women's lines

Shoes designed for the female morphology: lightweight, ergonomic because offering smaller sizes is not enough to properly fit the feet of female workers.

Rubber boots

For wet environments, mud, sewage disposal, and agriculture. Classes S4 and S5 are the most suitable.

Advice from Dinamitek technician
If you work in humid environments or are frequently washed, don't skimp: choose WR or WP models. Dry feet = better day.
