Micromot Precision with Three-Segment Sectioning

The Proxxon 28940 collets represent the most accurate clamping system available for Micromot rotary tools. The hardened steel construction and three-segment geometry ensure a uniform grip and superior concentricity compared to traditional self-tightening chucks.

The self-tightening chuck offers faster tool changes, but Micromot collets remain the obvious choice when maximum precision is required.

  • Collets 28940: Superior concentricity, increased clamping force, ideal for milling and engraving.
  • Chuck 28941: more practical for frequent changes, but less precise.

Professional tip: For technical work, PCBs, deep engraving or precision milling, always use 28940 collets to avoid vibration and deflection of the cutting edge.
