987 C - CUBITRON II for heavy metal removal suitable for stainless steel, nickel alloy and all heat sensitive metals
Support: Vulcanized fiber.
Binder: Double resin.
Mineral: Triangular shaped PSG ceramic with cooling additive
The double resin binder improves the anchoring of the mineral on the support which does not crumble even during the heaviest workings. The support for the mineral is of excellent quality and guarantees long life to the disc: it is vulcanized fiber. The mineral, a true 3M revelation, is the patented Cubitron PSG. The special constant shape of the mineral and the orientation of the same on the support (uniform) allows to keep the sharp edges even while working.
The advantages are obvious: greater cutting and less operator fatigue. Work gets done faster, productivity gains. Another important advantage is that the 987 C disc is able to process a much greater number of pieces than common fiber discs.
The CUBITRON II fiber disc must be used with CUBITRON II RED RIGID BACKING PAD 3M FOR FIBERED DISCS to obtain the best results
