987 C - CUBITRON The new mineral that significantly increases productivity by reducing operator fatigue. Suitable for removing welds and burrs in all processes where heavy metal removal is required without producing heat. Suitable for stainless steel, nickel alloy and all heat sensitive metals. The mineral has a constant shape and an orientation on the support which ensures that the edges remain sharp even during processing. The 987 C disc cuts better and faster than a common fiber disc and has a longer life (it can perform more operations before it needs to be replaced)

It is recommended to use the fiber disc with the 3M CUBITRON II RED RIGID BACKING PAD FOR FIBERED DISCS to enhance its cutting capacity and durability, the maximum performance from the CUBITRON II technology

Support: Vulcanized fiber increases the life of the disc

Binder: Double resin that improves the anchoring of the mineral on the support that does not crumble even during heavy work.

Mineral: Triangular shaped PSG ceramic with cooling additive that improves the quality of work and performance when dealing with heat-sensitive metals
